Viking Community,
We are proud to share that The College Board recently announced that Denver North High School has earned the Gold recognition on the 2025 AP School Honor Roll!
This annual recognition from the College Board reflects strong performance across the Honor Roll metrics and a commitment to increase the ongoing higher education culture by providing the opportunity to all North students to earn college credits and maximize college readiness.
College Culture: 68% of graduating seniors took at least one AP exam
College Credit: 36% of graduates earned a qualifying AP score (3+)
College Optimization: 12% of students completed five or more AP exams, including at least one taken in 9th or 10th grade
Denver North High School offers 13 AP courses and our students AP pass rate grew from 54% in 2024 to 70% in 2025. AP courses and exams aim to challenge students to think critically, construct solid arguments, and consider multiple perspectives on an issue to prepare them for college and beyond.
We are very proud of our North AP scholars and our educators for achieving the Gold AP School Honor Roll. This great accomplishment is evidence of our determination, continĂșe growth and success in academics.
Please join us in celebrating and congratulating all of our scholars and dedicated staff at Denver North High School!
Sincerely,
German Echevarria
