We recieved some very exiting news that senior Aris Burcham is a finalist for the New York Times Learning Network “Coming of Age in 2020: A Special Multimedia Contest for Teenagers in the US!”
This was a nationwide contest from September, 2020 that seemed to perfectly capture what our students were working on for our collaborative show, “COVID-19: Through the Distorted-Looking Glass.”
Music teacher Ms. Olson informed her students about this amazing opportunity and encouraged them all to submit their original work. Aris was the only one who took the initiative and courage to submit his original blues song, “2020 Blues,” and now he is a FINALIST!!!
