9th Grade Class of 2025 Registration and Orientation Information

We are excited to welcome you to the Denver North Viking family and we cannot wait for you to join us next school year as part of the Class of 2025! This Spring, in preparation for the start of your high school journey, you will complete North’s Freshman Orientation course. Orientation is an opportunity to learn more about North High School, become familiar with the opportunities and supports we provide for students, and to prepare for your Freshman year in a variety of ways.

Orientation is an online course that you will have access to through Schoology, if your student attended middle school in DPS, or Google Classroom, if you student attended middle school outside of DPS, that students and guardians will engage in together.

Orientation will open on Monday, April 26 at 4pm and must be completed by Friday, May 14.

Click here to access the Schoology Course directly (if attended DPS middle school)

Click here to access the Google Classroom Course directly. (if attended middle school outside of DPS)

Click here for Schoology and Google Classroom access instructions and Orientation support opportunities including live online support meetings, twice-weekly Office Hours and the Support Form link.

You will need the following information to complete the Freshman Orientation Course:

  • You student’s 6-digit DPS ID number
  • Your student’s 8-digit birthday: MMDDYYYY

Course Recommendations for Scheduling:

You will have the chance to select your classes for next year during Orientation. You received an email on April 21 listing the classes recommended for you by your middle school counselor and teachers. The North High School counselors are also here to help you decide what classes will be the best fit for your freshman year.

As a part of Orientation, you will complete Registration where you will officially sign up for your seat at North! We recommend trying the steps and looking through Orientation soon after it launches (on April 26), especially if you anticipate that you may need support.

Thank you for your time and commitment to complete these initial steps.

We are so excited to have you join us at North in August!

Sincerely,
