How to Register at Denver North

Incoming 9th Grade Orientation – 2025-26

Plan to attend our Class of 2029 Orientation Event!

Thursday, April 17, 5 – 7 pm – Presentation in English (interpretation available)

Monday April 21, 5 – 7 pm – Presentation in Spanish (interpretation available)

Check-in beginning at 5:00 pm

Club, Activity, Athletic Fair: 5:00-6:00 pm

Presentation: 6:00-7:00 pm

In Person Registration Dates – 2025-26

Plan to register at North High for the 2025-2026 school year in person. When you register in person, you’re able to pick up your student’s schedule and Chromebook. Counselors will also be available to discuss needed schedule changes.

  • Thursday, July 24, 8 am – 3 pm (Letter of last name: A-G)*
  • Wednesday, July 30, 1 – 8 pm (Letter of last name: H-P)*
  • Saturday, August 2, 9 am – 3 pm (Letter of last name: Q-Z)*

*Note: If you are unable to attend In Person Registration on the date associated with the letter of your last name, please attend whichever date is convenient

*Note: Dates subject to changes based on construction projects schedule.

NORTH HIGH SCHOOL 2025-2026 Fees

Fees paid online using student’s MySchoolBucks Account

All Students:

Registration Cost (per year): $85 (Annual digital ID fee and general classroom resources/supplies)

Art classes: $30 per year

Ceramics classes: $30 per year

*Other classes may have fees. Please refer to the course syllabus.

Note: Additional fees will apply for classes listed above. Fees will post to students’ accounts after schedules are finalized.


Other Fees: *If applicable

Athletic Fees: $92 *If you qualify for free or reduced lunch (and have completed and submitted form): $25

AP Exam: $98 *If you qualify for free or reduced lunch (and have completed and submitted form): $53

Miscellaneous Prices:

Lost Textbook fee: $70 – $90

School meals: No charge for breakfast and lunch

Chromebook Damage/Replacement fee $25 – $270 (Depending on damage or if replacement is required.)

RTD Monthly Bus Pass: Youth 19 and younger ride free on all RTD services

Transferring to North

Families of current high school students wishing to transfer to North must make an appointment with Alma Gonzalez to discuss enrollment. Please contact Alma Gonzalez at Alma_Gonzalez@dpsk12.org or 720-423-2737 to set up the appointment. Families will also meet with a school administrator to discuss appropriate course selection during the enrollment appointment.

Documents needed to enroll at North High:

  • Proof of address (copy of mortgage statement or rental lease, Xcel bill, water bill or notarized letter if residing with friend or family member)
  • Student’s birth certificate
  • Student’s complete school records: grade transcript, attendance and behavior records
