Denver North High Cheerleading tryouts for the upcoming season are coming soon! If you’re interested in trying out, please attend one of our in person parent/guardian and student information sessions held on one of the following dates:
Attending an information session with a parent/guardian is mandatory to be considered for the team.
There will be two competition teams this year: Traditional and Gameday. Both teams are expected to compete in their division and cheer for scheduled Varsity football and basketball games. All grades and skill levels are welcome. No previous cheer experience required to be placed on a team.
To prepare for tryouts and/or to see if you’re interested in cheerleading at a high school level, please attend the optional prep clinics below. Each prep clinic is $5 to participate or $30 paid upfront for all eight clinics. These prep clinics are designed to give you a jumpstart on building skills before tryouts and prepare required skills to be considered for the Traditional Competition Team. It is highly recommended you attend prep clinics to build necessary skills and to get to know the coaches and other potential team members.
You must submit a completed tryout packet by the first day of tryout clinics to be considered for the team. Tryout packets can be found on our website: https://sites.google.com/view/denvernorthcheer
Tryouts will be on the following dates and times. All tryout dates are mandatory.
