Graduate Ticket Information:
Graduates’ Arrival Time: 5:45 pm sharp at Magness Arena. Please see below for photo of students’ entrance.
Guest Access: Doors open at 6:00 pm. Tickets required. *PLEASE PLAN TO ARRIVE EARLY*. Traffic and parking will become very congested. Please see below for photo of student and family entrances. Please note that there is a total of three family entrances: #1 pictured; #2 (main entrance) around to the right facing the athletic field; #3 on the opposite side of the building from #1 pictured. Entrances #2 and #3 may be less congested.
NOTE: ADA entrance is the same entrance as the student entrance.

NOTE: There is a NO bag policy for all guests wishing to enter the Ritchie Center for a graduation ceremony. This includes gift bags. Guests who require a diaper bag or medical bag are permitted to bring a bag no larger than 12 in. x 6 in. x 12 in. which will be subject to search.
NOTE: No noisemakers, balloons, confetti, inflatable objects, signs larger than 22″ x 28″ or with a stick or pole attached. No flash photography, video cameras or cameras with detachable lenses. No metal water bottles or outside food or beverages. Please click here to review all prohibited items at Magness Arena.
NOTE: North offers “First Generation” and “Legacy” stoles available to pre-order from the North Counseling office. Colorado law allows students to wear cultural or religious regalia at graduation ceremonies under their graduation attire (robe). This includes traditional Native American regalia. The law applies to public schools, colleges, and universities. Please click here for more information. No leis (including money leis) or flags will be permitted to be worn by graduates during the ceremony. These items can be given to students following the ceremony if desired.
NOTE: North is not responsible for graduates’ belongings during and following the ceremony. Graduates should not bring bags or extra items that they would have to leave in the pre-function area. If graduates need to bring purses or small bags, they must be crossbody type bags they can wear under their robes during the ceremony. North staff will not be collecting any items left behind by graduates.
PARKING: Graduation Parking is $10.00/vehicle (CASH ONLY) and will be available in the following lots. Please click here for a map of all lot locations.
• Lot 108, Lot C, Lot L, and Lot W
• ADA Parking—Lot 311 (Lot 314 and Lot 401 available on select dates only)
Please REFRAIN from parking in the following areas as they are NOT affiliated with the
University of Denver and are PRIVATE PROPERTY:
• RTD Parking Lot
• Apartment/Condominium and Residential Parking on Buchtel Blvd, University Blvd and E Jewell Avenue.
University Park Tower Condominiums do not have public parking available. Parking in this complex is subject to the violator being ticketed and/or towed.
• Permitted Only Parking in neighborhood streets—please note time limits, zones, and permit only areas.
